Eliane Herdani, MS, LCPC

Education

Masters Degree in Organizational Counseling and a Post Masters in Clinical Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. Currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Human and Organizational Learning at George Washington University. Licensed as a Professional Counselor in the state of Maryland.

Past Experience

Some of my past experience includes working at WATS- Washington Assessment and Therapy Services and at CBH Health - Mar-Lyn Housing, offering psychotherapy and case management for clients with severe mental illnesses. At COPE,Inc as a Employee Assistant Counselor and at Suburban Hospital as a Addictions Counselor.

I am an avid workshop presenter, having conducted more than 200 workshops in the past 6 years, and continuing to do so on a monthly basis at the Commission for Women Counseling and Career Center and other organizations such as NIH, DC- Government, Calvert Group, and several others.

Cultural Background

My diverse cultural background (born and raised in Brazil, lived in Germany and emigrated to the USA in 1999) enables me to work with a wide variety of clients.
